Corbin Primary Redhound Enrichment held Patriot Day in honor of 9/11.
The students learned the importance of September 11 and participated in patriotic activities.
The students said the Pledge of Allegiance, painted pictures, and answered questions such as “what does it mean to be a hero?” The activities were designed to help students understand the importance of the American Flag and to explain the historical events of 9/11.
“As September 11th is an important day to many Americans, we believed it would be important to allow the students of Corbin Primary Redhound Enrichment’s 21st Century Program to take part in the remembrance of this significant day.” Redhound Enrichment Site Coordinator Stacey Woods said.
