Terry and Marion Forcht donated 23 acres of property to the Corbin Independent School District.
The property is adjacent to the Corbin High School outdoor classroom. The donation will help the high school to expand their outdoor learning center.
“We are very pleased that you have accepted the property. We are glad you have found a good use for it,” Mr. Forcht said.
The Corbin School District honored Terry and Marion for their generous donation with a special plaque. Corbin Superintendent Ed McNeel presented the plaque after signing the official paperwork to transfer the property. The plaque reads, “The members of the Corbin Board of Education extend appreciation for your valued support for helping kids in our community.”
